It’s the Gretna Farmers’ Market and the Big Arts & Craft Festival Day in Gretna!

Time to come shopping for fresh, local foods and gifts for Mothers Day!





There will be 19 vendors at the Farmers Market with everything from fresh vegetables and fruits to fruit trees, popcorn and soy candles. You’ll find prepared foods like Smoked meats, salsa, lunch specials from Captn’ Jack; Gator-Beans and lemonade! There will be fresh made cheeses, sausage, wine, cracklins, breads and cookies and Creole cream cheese! You can even buy your Mama an orchid or beautiful plant. Also available is fine chocolate candies and teas and flavored popcorn and kettle corn. You’ll even find blackberries and strawberries for dessert!



This month the Arts & Craft Festival will take place on Huey P. Long Avenue under the oaks between 6th and 11th Streets! Come early for the best selections from over 60 vendors plus a Kids Tent sponsored by Home Depot!
