The Rebuilding Information Station will present a seminar “Keep the
Water Out – Flashing For Windows” at 5:30 PM on May 5, 2009 at the
Community Center of St Bernard, 1107 LeBeau St in Arabi.

The guest speaker will be LSU AgCenter Associate Bill Robinson.
Contractors as well as do-it-yourself homeowners are invited to this
hands-on demonstration of the proper installation of house wrap,
flashing, sealants and water barriers that control moisture, increase
comfort and reduce water damage in Louisiana homes. Participants will
learn the “tricks of the trade” of keeping houses dry with modern
flashing materials by watching a demonstration using a real windows in
this homeowner-friendly seminar.

The Home Rebuilding seminar on May 5 is free to the public, but
