After a rapturously received show in 2008, the San Francisco girls are
back for more! Trannyshack New Orleans returns to One Eyed Jacks in
the French Quarter, featuring Trannyshack creator Heklina and
performances by SF legends Renttecca, Peaches Christ, Holy McGrail,
Precious Moments, Mercy Fuque, Turleen, and more.

DJ Dupuy spins for your dancing pleasure before and after the show.
Heklina is the hostess, producer, and creator of Trannyshack, San
Francisco:city's legendary drag performance night club, which shocked
and delighted packed audiences every Tuesday night at midnight for
over twelve years. Defying all expectations, Trannyshack incorporated
everything from low brow trash to high brow performance art, and
became famous (or infamous) worldwide as the quintessential San
Francisco experience.

The club has been featured in Out (which named it one of the top 10
reasons to move to San Francisco), Genre, Instinct, The Advocate
(which named the final SF Trannyshack show one of the Top 10 Theater
Events of 2008), and Paper magazines.

Since ending the weekly Tuesday night showcase in August of 2008,
Heklina has enjoyed traveling with the show, and has had the pleasure
of producing Trannyshack in Waikiki, New York City, Los Angeles,
London, Seattle, Portland, and many more cities to come. She is proud
to add New Orleans, one of her favorite cities, to this list.
