Liberty’s Kitchen Café youth training program to celebrate opening at Tulane and Broad with Gala on April 18

Liberty’s Kitchen, Inc. of New Orleans, Louisiana has launched its youth development program and Café with help from a $375,000 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation of Battle Creek, Michigan. Liberty’s Kitchen Café and Coffee House, a youth training program and retail food service establishment, is located at 422 South Broad at Tulane.

A Grand Opening Gala will take place at Liberty’s Kitchen on Saturday, April 18, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The event will feature Liberty’s Kitchen cuisine by Chef Reggie Davis with the assistance of visiting chefs from Manhattan’s CulinaryCorps. Entertainment for the evening will feature David Torkanowsky with special guests Bob French, Juanita Brooks and James Rivers. A Silent Auction will be a highlight of the eveni ng as well.
