New Orleans: New Orleanians are famous for their love of finding reasons to party, and Monday, April 27, 2009 will be no exception during Jazz-Fest time. Jimmy Anselmo, owner of the now-gone-but-not-forgotten Jimmy's Club at 8200 Willow Street in Uptown (where the Frat House is now located) will once again be the host-venue of choice for celebrating a menu of music, memories, food and fun, starting at 6 pm, to benefit Children's Hospital, while folks reminisce about "the good ole music days at Jimmy's"!

Jimmy's Club spanned nearly four decades of vast varieties of music offerings, starting in the 1970's. "This Jimmy's reunion will be our first," Anselmo says. "Hopefully, we'll start a new tradition and the proceeds will go to a good cause, Children's Hospital."
