Dear Friends of New Orleans,

I have photographed Mardi Gras every year since 1978 and dare I say that this just may have been the best ever. Everyone seemed so ready to celebrate. It was a joyously happy event for everyone I know who participated.



So allow me to share with you some of my favorite images from the many colorful events I attended - from the sublime to the decadent. Altogether, they are hopelessly entertaining. I hope you enjoy viewing them even half as much as I did photographing them.
