If you missed the first one last summer, now is your chance to see the
best break dancing show you will see in the south all year!
The B Boy Throwback party is a homage to a simpler time when the only
elements of hip hop that mattered were the beats, the rhymes,
graffiti, and dance. All will be on full display for this jam.
The dancing will be performed by the Asylum Dance Crew and friends,
with music provided by DJs Tony Skratchere, Beverly Skillz, and Damion
Yancy.
Also, there will be a performance by rapper Duece G, and the party
will be hosted by MC Sonali.
There will be a live graffiti display on stage throughout the night,
as well as old school break dancing movies on the big screen.
This show is not to be missed! As always @ Republic on friday night,
enjoy $2 High Life and $4 wells, solve a Rubik?s Cube for a free tab,
and play the free Ms. Pacman arcade all night! Dress in your best
oldschool hip hop gear, dress to be retro, or just dress to be you. Be
one of the best-dressed, and we'll take your Polaroid and put it on
the Throwback Wall of Fame. You'll get a $20 bar tab for each
Throwback that your picture stays up!
