De-stress for Less: Delgado Message Therapy Students Offer the Public
the Rejuvenating Power of Healing Hands at an Economy-friendly Rate



Delgado Community College's West Bank Campus, located at 2600 General
Meyer Ave., is inviting both the college community and the public to
enjoy one-hour massages, performed by Delgado's Massage Therapy
students, for just $15 per session. The massage sessions are being
offered from Jan. 26 - May 4, 2009.



Massage session times are as follows:

Mondays - 11:30 a.m.; 12:45 p.m.; 1:30 p.m.; and 2:45 p.m.

Wednesdays - 3:15 p.m.; 4:30 p.m.; and5:45 p.m.

Fridays - 9 a.m.; 10:15 a.m.; and 11:30 a.m.



Massages are given in Room 101 of Building 2 at the Delgado Community
College West Bank Campus at 2600 General Meyer Avenue. Please call ahead
to Massage Therapy/Fitness Center Director Sallye Raymond, M.Ed., LMT
#1477, at (504) 762-3144 to arrange your massage appointment.



Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time. Exact
cash only accepted.



Delgado Massage Therapy students are taking part in a certificate
program that provides academic and clinical education in the practice of
therapeutic massage. Upon successful completion, students will be
eligible to take the National Certification Board for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) Exam and the State of Louisiana Licensure
Exam.
