Follow Chris Lane, the Little White Rabbit as he hops once again through an intoxicating adventure full of tantalizing surprises when Fleur de Tease presents an encore of their very special Alice in Burlesqueland show at 8PM & 10PM on Sunday, April 19, 2009, during French Quarter Fest. The cast of Fleur de Tease, along with special guests, transforms into dancing versions of the well loved psychedelic characters from the famous storybook bringing each page to life like never before. Trixie Minx, founder of Fleur de Tease will also be back in town to perform as a lovely flower, after returning from her successful European tour.

Fleur de Tease is New Orleans’ premiere troupe of true professional burlesque dancers, including artistic director Trixie Minx, Madame Mystere, Lily Summers, Bella Blue, Natasha Fiore’, and Rory Wrey. This cast of intriguing burlesque dancers creates a new original show each time they perform. No two shows are ever alike, and with Fleur de Tease performing once a month at One Eyed Jacks, you can expect new material and a lot of fun at every performance. A Fleur de Tease show reflects modern style vaudeville and includes the comical style of MC Chris Lane, trickster and illusionist Magic Mike, and circus-like aerial trapeze from Sarah the Bobcat, alongside classic “bump & grind” New Orleans burlesque routines. There’s always an array of surprises and when you attend a Fleur de Tease show, “…You never know who or what will turn up on stage!”

Tickets for the Fleur de Tease Alice in Burlesqueland, Sunday, April 19, 2009, at One Eyed Jacks, 615 Toulouse St., NOLA, 504-569-8361, are $15.00 and $20.00 for reserved table seating.
