International School of Louisiana to Host Fifth Annual Refrigerator Art Auction
Original artwork by “Be Nice or Leave” artist highlights this spring's coolest fundraiser


WHO: The International School of Louisiana (ISL)

WHAT: New Orleans folk artist Dr Bob, known for his “Be Nice or Leave” signs, and ceramicist Jennifer Schumacher Waller will have pieces auctioned off for ISL’s Fifth Annual Refrigerator Art Auction. Advance tickets are $60.00 each ($100.00 at the door) and include live music, food, wine and beer. Patron Level tickets ($125) include a Patron Party beginning at 6:00 PM with additional live music, advance viewing of all auction items and signed and numbered pieces to the first 150 Patron Level guests. The menu for the event will be coordina ted by John Harris, ISL parent and award-winning chef of Lilette, and the evening's entert ainers will include the Bucktown All-Stars, Eggyolk Jubilee and the Davis Rogan Trio. Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased online at www.isl-edu.org

WHEN: Sunday, March 29, 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. (Patron Party begins at 6:00 p.m.)

WHERE: The Foundry, 333 St. Joseph St. in NOLA

WHY: Event proceeds will support arts programs at ISL, a public charter school providing a multi-lingual education in French and Spanish.

The Refrigerator Art Auction is presented in association with sponsors New Orleans Magazine, St. Charles Avenue Magazine, The Foundry, Middendorf's and Katfish Home Improvements.
